Lt. Col. Andrew Bergen rides in a landing craft headed for USS New Orleans anchored off the coast of Cambodia Dec. 11. Bergen is the commanding officer for Combat Logistics Battalion 11, which provides logistics and services to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The Camp Pendleton, Calif., unit embarked three U.S. Navy ships in San Diego Nov. 14 and arrived in Southeastern Asia Dec. 11 as part of a regularly scheduled deployment. The unit came to Cambodia to take part in exchanges of expertise with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
