The South Carolina National Guard celebrates the 375th National Guard birthday, Dec. 13, in Columbia, S.C. Governor Nikki Haley and Maj. Gen. Robert Livingston, Jr., the Adjutant General of South Carolina, cut the birthday cake with a 1670-era sword that was used by South Carolina in the defense of Charles Towne.
