A U.S. Marine with III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group tests the fit of his M50 Joint Service General Purpose Mask outside the gas chamber at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 19, 2018. Marines are required to show their proficiency with an M50 JSGPM by breaking the seal, allowing 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile gas to fill the mask, then clearing their mask out.
