She has been a part of two humanitarian missions with the medical group and also served on the Inspector General team as a Senior Airman. Bates has also earned both the Air Force Achievement and Commendation Medals during her short five-year career. Bates enjoys spending her free time with her puppy or playing tennis and golf. She has has watched baseball games in 15 different MLB stadiums during her mission to to visit all 32 ballparks. She also aspires to participate in the reality show “Survivor” claiming it’s a challenge she believes she can overcome.
