Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Gen. Peter Pace, speaks to personnel from the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan at Camp Eggers, Afghanistan. Pace was on his last tour of Afghanistan as the CJCS and wanted to thank CSTC-A personnel for their service, answer questions and personally shake hands with everyone present. Accompanying the general was Mr. Harvey C. Barnum Jr., who received the Medal of Honor for heroic action in Vietnam while attached to Company H, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment.
