The Nevada Army National Guard has vacated its long-running training center, Camp Stead, a 10-acre property located south of the Reno-Stead Airport in Lemmon Valley. Originally constructed during World War II, the Nevada National Guard operated out of the facilities at Camp Stead under a 50-year lease that expired Monday.
