Shown here on Dec. 20, 2018 at the Horsham Air Guard Station, Horsham, Pa., Airman First Class Richard Williams drives a forklift. Williams is a traffic management specialist in the 111th Logistics Readiness Group, and uses his education benefits to further his career both in the Air National Guard and as a civilian. Taking advice from one of our 111th Attack Wing recruiters, Williams enrolled in an heating, ventilation, and air conditioning certification course at Middle Bucks County College, Newtown, Pa. He hopes to further his skills with a plumbing class next semester. Williams says “It helps me a lot with logistics. That’s something that I wanted to go into on the outside [civilian career], when I use to work at UPS or Fed Ex…It just opens up more doors for me.”
