KINGSVILLE, TX - Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer tests out a virtual reality simulator with the help of Rear Admiral Greg Harris, chief of naval air training, and Michael Oliver, in-service engineer for Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division during a visit aboard Naval Air Station Kingsville on January 10, 2019. Micro-simulators are a highly accessible way for flight students to self-study at any time or location, giving them an immersive study experience and the opportunity to prepare for future missions in advance, therefore improving the mission's quality when flown.
