Heilman, a World War II Marine veteran, shares his memories of his initial time on Okinawa during the war with Isringhausen and Carson, who are students of the College of the Ozarks. They were accompanied by a group of three other WWII veterans and nine other students through the Patriotic Education Travel Program of the college. The group first visited Pearl Harbor and then continued on to Hiroshima after visiting Okinawa.
