The external armor plates of the last vehicle out of Iraq bear the marking for all to see. This truck was commanded by Sgt. 1st Class Hilda McNamee, of Ft. Worth, Texas, driven by Sgt. James Alaimo of Lake Dallas, Texas, the gunner was Pvt. 1st Class Anthony Palm of Tenino, Wash., crew member Spc. Vergil Heger of Hilo, Hawaii, and Spc. Brittany Hampton, combat medic, from Killeen, Texas. Except for Spc. Hampton, the crew is all military policemen, and all are members of Headquarters Company, Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade “Greywolf,” 1st Cavalry Division.
