Maj. Gen. John Evans Jr., commander of U.S. Army Cadet Command and Fort Knox, and Capt. Thomas Sandbrink, officer in charge of the Fort Knox Tax Center cut the ribbon opening the tax center and beginning the tax season here. Services are available to active duty Soldiers and Family members, retirees and their families, and reservists and guardsmen on active duty for more than 30 days. Hours of operation are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to schedule appointments. The center accepts walk-ins on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
