Darrin Nelson shows an Iraqi National Guard soldier how to point his weapon when entering and clearing a room. Nelson?s unit, Company C, 52nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), is conducting a four-week basic training course in Qayarrah for Iraqi soldiers. The soldiers will become a part of two new battalions of the Iraqi National Guard to provide security in the Tigris River Valley region.
