JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 31, 2019) – Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Bernstein, a sports medicine physician at Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport, evaluates retired Marine Brian Van Allen’s knee at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Injection Clinic. Bernstein has been elected to the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians’ board of directors (as Navy director) by his fellow military family physicians. Bernstein will represent over 2,500 uniformed family physicians for Navy, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard for a three-year term starting in March.
