Fallbrook, Calif. (February 20, 2019) Breaking ground on the construction of an 800-member Army Reserve Center at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach (NWSSB) Detachment Fallbrook with representatives of the NWSSB Fallbrook detachment, NWSSB Public Works, the U.S. Army Reserve, Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army 63rd Readiness Division, and Cox Construction. The 79,000 square-foot facility will include an organizational maintenance shop, weapons simulator, physical fitness center, vehicle wash racks, and storage. Designed for a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria, it will include energy efficiencies, a building envelope, and integrated building systems performance.
