Water is moving through Cheatham Dam Feb. 26, 2019 at a rate of about 110,000 cubic feet per second. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District officials are getting the word out to commercial and recreational navigators that Cheatham Lock will remain closed for at least 30 days due to the high water levels expected as the Corps continues to make water releases from its storage reservoirs upstream in the Cumberland River Basin.
