190306-N-CN315-0002 EAST CHINA SEA (March 06, 2019) – Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, Vice Adm. Phil Sawyer participates in a phone interview at sea aboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), March 6. Blue Ridge, which recently completed a nearly 2-year extended dry-dock selected restricted availability period and numerous certifications, is underway with its embarked 7th Fleet staff, strengthening relationships with U.S. allies and partner nations while providing advanced communication capabilities and supporting theater security cooperation across the Indo-Pacific region.
