U.S. Marine Cpl. Ivan D. Garciamunoz, a radio operator with Regimental Combat Team 5 and 21-year-old native of Riverside, Calif., sits inside a mobile modular command and control mine resistant ambush protected vehicle, or M2C2, here, Jan. 17. Garciamunoz is part of the team operating the M2C2, one of the uniquely modified MRAPs designed to provide mobile command and control capabilities to battlefield commanders. Garciamunoz and his team provide these capabilities to the RCT-5 commander, Col. Roger B. Turner, and his staff during battlefield tours and mobile missions, and to subordinate battalions operating in the RCT-5 battlespace.
