JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2019) – Lt. Cmdr. Christopher Love, a pediatrician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, checks a patient’s ear during a visit. Love, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, says “It's an honor to take care of the children of our nation's heroes. The whole military pediatrics team works hard every day to ensure that while mom and dad are doing the work of keeping our country safe, they can rest easy knowing that their kids are in good hands, receiving top notch medical care anywhere in the world." The Navy Medical Corps is comprised of physicians from over 30 specialties and subspecialty areas. (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
