Pvt. Daniel J. Houten stands in the back of the class and works on writing assignments at the National Guard GED Plus Program at Camp Joseph T. Robinson in North Little Rock, Ark. Houten graduated with his GED diploma at the top of his class and is currently at Fort Benning, Ga., to complete Army basic and infantryman training. Houten previously served as a M113 armored personnel mechanic with the Israel Defense Forces. He is currently a member of the Georgia Army National Guard.
