A U.S. Air Force KC-135 with a bent tail fin in the main hangar at the Iowa Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa on March 22, 2019. Members of the 185th ARW Repair and Reclamation shop are working to reattach the tail after replacing a damaged rudder. This is the first time the 185th maintenance group has removed a tail at the Sioux City Air Guard maintenance facility since becoming a tanker unit in 2003.
