Former and current Soldiers who deployed with the North Carolina National Guard’s 1450th Transportation Company, take a group photo during their reunion at the American Legion Post 48 in Hickory, North Carolina on March 16, 2019. The reunion, held almost 15 years since the day they left the United States for their 2004 deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, gave many of the veterans a chance to get closure and reconnect with their fellow Soldiers.
