U.S. Marine Cpl. Garrett Storhoff, a native of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, plane captain, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron-115 (VMFA-115), attached to1st Marine Aircraft Wing sits outside the cockpit of a F/A-18 Hornet on the flight line of Wing 1 Royal Thai Air Force Base here Feb. 14. Additionally two Hornets from VMFA-115 take off to commence bilateral training in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. The exercise consists of multinational combined joint training events executed annually and held throughout the Kingdom of Thailand. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest multilateral exercise in the Asia-Pacific region, offering more than 20 participating countries opportunities to improve interoperability.
