Col. Christopher Blomquist, commander of the 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth, Minn., meets with Brigadier General Mato Mikić the Commander of the Croatian Air Force after landing his F-16 at Zagreb Airport in Croatia on April 5, 2019. Minnesota has been paired with Croatia through the State Partnership Program since 1996 and this visit is to showcase the knowledge of the F-16 aircraft, which Croatia is looking to acquire in the near future. The relationship was started in 1996 and the countries have conducted multiple engagements throughout the two decades.
