Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 34th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division from Fort Riley, Kansas, refuel their M1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks during exercise Allied Spirit X in Hohenfels, Germany, April 7, 2019. Exercise Allied Spirit X includes approximately 5,600 participants from 15 nations, March 30 – April 17, 2019, at the 7th Army Training Command’s Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany. Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army Europe-directed, 7th Army Training Command-conducted multinational exercise series designed to develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.
