    HAGÅTÑA, Guam (April 30, 2019) – Local and military officials, and members
    of the Vietnamese-American community, stand before the Lone Sailor statue
    during an unveiling of the official plaques for the statue at the Ricardo J.
    Bordallo Governor's Complex in Hagåtña April 30. Local and military
    officials, and members of the Vietnamese-American community, attended the
    event at Lone Sailor statue, a symbol of the significant relationship
    between the Navy, the sea services, Guam, and the thousands of Vietnamese
    citizens who found refuge on the island during Operation New Life in the
