Soldiers of the 62nd Engineer Battalion respond to a simulated nuclear attack, and assess the injuries of civilian role player's during Guardian Response 2019 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, May 1, 2019. Guardian Response 19, a joint, multi-component training exercise, includes more than 9,000 service members from across the country and tests the ability of the Army Reserve to participate in the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) program in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear catastrophe.
