The North Korean flag flies high in the peace village Kijŏng-dong. The Panmunjeom flag pole is said to be the world's third tallest at 160 meters, holding a 595 lbs flag. The village is located on the North Korean side of the Military Demarcation Line within the Korean Demilitarized Zone.
