Sailors eagerly look toward a surface contact while standing small arms attack team (SCAT) watch as the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) transits Puget Sound during her departure, June 26. Lincoln is conducting sea trials following a nine-month dry-dock planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Wash. Sea trials will test Lincoln systems and crew in preparation for their return to full operational capability status.
