California Army National Guard 2nd Lt. Matthew Nittinger, an evaluator, asks Spc. Korin Magers, a 92L Petroleum Laboratory Specialist, who is assigned to the 115th Regional Support Group in Roseville questions on her movement plan and dispatch procedures. Magers and her convoy are on their way to an intermediate staging base at the Sierra College in Rocklin, Jan. 6, 2012, during the 115th Regional Support Group's Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise, which had 60 vehicles and 217 troops moving their wheeled assets around the state in response to a earthquake scenario. The troops reported around 2 a.m., performed maintenance on their vehicles and received briefings about what to expect. This is the first training that solely focuses on moving the vehicle specialists and their hauling machines into position to respond to a state emergency.
