SANTA RITA, Guam (May 8, 2019) Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2, and Sailors assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 conduct casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) training evolution on a Mark VI patrol craft. CRS-2 is assigned to Costal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam and is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. HSC-25 provides a multi-mission rotary wing capability for units in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a Guam-based 24-hour search-and-rescue and medical evacuation capability, directly supporting U.S. Coast Guard and Joint Region Marianas.
