Maj. Claudia Niemiec assigned to the 301st Medical Squadron, 301st Medical Group, Carswell Field, Naval Air Station, Fort Worth, Texas, breaks down and sets up a tent for emergency medical packages that consist of numerous ambulatory services such as an emergency room, operation room, and a morgue in Maribor, Slovenia, during Immediate Response 2019, May 10, 2019. The standard is that all ambulatory services have to be fully mission capable within 12 hours. The troops are demonstrating their capabilities to our coalition partners and the host nation is also setting up a similar unit where they can handle the exact same patients. Combined training enables allies and partners to readily respond more effectively to regional crises and meet their own national defense goals. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt. Jeffery Sandstrum).
