The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) participated in VE Day Observance (Victory in Europe) hosted by the Friends of the National World War II at the WW II Memorial, May 8, 2019. Joining at age 16, retired Colonol Frederick Clinton, feels like it was all only yesterday. "I'm glad to be here. Not just to remember myself, but to remember my brothers and sisters who have no voice."
