An OH-58 Kiowa, from 2nd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, provides aerial support for soldiers from 2nd Platoon, Crazy Horse Troop, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, who are conducting a partnered patrol with Afghan National Army Soldiers from the 4th Kandak, Feb. 28, 2012. Partnered missions are essential to ensure the Afghan National Army is trained sufficiently in the tactics, techniques and technologies necessary to fend off a Taliban resurgence.
