The U.S. Military Academy at West Point held its graduation and commissioning ceremony for the Class of 2018 at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y., May 26, 2018. Nine hundred and seventy-two cadets graduated, including 193 women, 105 African-Americans, 180 Asian/Pacific Islanders, 78 Hispanics and 16 Native Americans. Of this class, 152 attended the U. S. Military Academy Preparatory School, 12 are combat veterans and 11 are foreign-national cadets. In attendance were Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and commencement speaker General Joe Dunford, Secretary of the Army Mark T. Esper and Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Mark A. Milley.
