Iraqi soldiers make use of the tracking camera on an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), on Camp Taji, Iraq, May 20, 2019. The Coalition is advising and assisting with the development of the Iraqi Army 9th Armor Division’s reconnaissance capability through the use of UAVs. Task Force Forward, with the assistance of Task Group Taji 8, delivered a week-long training course consisting of classroom and hands-on training. This shows an investment in Iraq’s future security and demonstrates a continuation of the Coalition and the Iraqi Security Force’s already proven commitment to the people of Iraq.
