(Feb. 4, 2019) Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Christopher Pilmaier, from Pryor, Oklahoma and assigned to Naval Construction Group 2 stands in front of the Naval Construction Battalion Center headquarters building in Gulfport, Mississippi, home of the Atlantic Fleet Seabees. Pilmaier is the first active-duty Sailor to be accepted into the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Collegiate Program and will commission as a CEC officer after completing his mechanical engineering degree from Mississippi State University.
