Local Vietnamese men assisting the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command and the Vietnam Office for Seeking Missing Persons, make their way up a mountain in Binh Dinh province, Vietnam, March 15, 2012, where they are working hard to help the joint Vietnamese/U.S. recovery team locate remains or other evidence that can help identify a soldier missing from the Vietnam Conflict. JPAC's mission is to conduct global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
