Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr. talks

Hoover, amphibious assault vehicle crewman with Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, during his trip to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, March 16. “I’m visiting Marine Corps Base Hawaii primarily to say thank you to all of the Marines over here for everything that they’ve been doing,” Dunford said. “Gen. Thiessen told me that these Marines were working hard and he suggested that it would be good if I stopped by and say hello.”
