Washington, DC - The U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) hosted a visit the Taiwan Armament Bureau (AB) Ministry of Defense (MND) Delegation on 12 June 2019. The delegation is visiting various military facilities under the auspices of the Office of Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD(AT&L)) and the Navy International Program Office (NIPO). They are attending a Defense Armament Cooperation and Exchange (DAC&E) Forum which is being hosted in New York and Washington, DC., 9-14 June 2019.
Greeting the Delegation on the steps of USNO's historic James M. Gilliss Building is USNO Superintendent, CAPT Mike Riggins. To his right is the leader of the Delegation, Major General Li-Hsin Ouyang, Deputy Director General of the Armaments Bureau.
