JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 5, 2019) – Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Efren Sollegue discusses pre-deployment requirements with Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Billy Kersey at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Jacksonville’s Plans, Operations and Medical Intelligence (POMI) office. Twenty five staff from NMRTC Jacksonville (co-located with Naval Hospital Jacksonville) are deploying aboard the U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20). Comfort is on a five-month mission to South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, starting in mid-June.
