U.S. Army Soldiers of 40th Infantry Division use camouflage to help shade and conceal tactical equipment and operating areas at Division-Main area of operations on Camp Roberts Training Base, California, June 17. Camouflage has been used throughout decades of operations to not only conceal what equipment beneath it, but also to help disguise personnel in more modern times with the first use of camouflage being used by the United States in 1942 as the "Duckhunter" jungle themed camouflage.
