Airmen from the 23d Civil Engineer Squadron and members of the U.S. Army load a small bridge onto an all-terrain vehicle, June 5, 2019, in Sainte-Mère-Église, France. The engineers provided structural support for the Commemoration of D-Day 75 by repairing and building bridges that were used to access hard-to-reach areas of a parachute drop zone. As part of the commemoration, parachutists from across the Department of Defense performed the same jumps their predecessors did on D-Day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Hayden Legg)
