ILLISKY TRAINING AREA, Kazakhstan (June 27, 2019) – Ambassador William H. Moser (center in suit), the United States Ambassador to Kazakhstan, stands with senior Kazakhstani Ground Forces’ officials during a visit to a forward operating base at Chilikemer Training Area near Almaty, Kazakhstan June 27, 2019, as part of Exercise Steppe Eagle 19. The Ambassador joined the U.K. Ambassador to Kazakhstan, the Deputy Commanding General for U.S. Army Central, and the state of Arizona’s Adjutant General to visit multinational troops participating in Steppe Eagle 19.
