190704-N-DQ787-2039 CORAL SEA (July, 4 2019) – Seaman Darian Argudin, from Miami, stands the aft starboard lookout watch aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), as an MH-60S helicopter, attached to the “Island Knights” of HSC-25, flies nearby. Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency, while simultaneously providing a flexible and lethal crisis response force ready to perform a wide range of military operations.
