SANTA RITA, Guam (July 9, 2019) – Navy Diver 2nd Class Chace Benefield, assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) dive locker, explains the purpose and capabilities of a navy diver’s gear to staff of Submarine Squadron Fifteen (CSS-15) and the Royal Malaysian Navy submarine force during a ship tour, July 9. The purpose of the tour was to review and establish combined goals and future plans for joint training and exercises. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
