SANTA RITA, Guam (July 9, 2019) – Alex Footman, a Military Sealift Command navigation officer aboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), explains MSC and Navy responsibilities and capabilities to staff from Commander, Submarine Group 7 (CSG-7) and the Royal Malaysian Navy submarine force during a ship tour, July 9. The purpose of the tour was to review and establish combined goals and future plans for joint training and exercises. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
