Lt. Leigh Aris, a member of the Canadian forces aboard Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), prepares a patient who was recently operated on aboard Comfort for blood work in Manta, Ecuador, Aug. 20. Comfort is on a four-month humanitarian deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean providing medical treatment to patients in a dozen countries.
