A vehicle rolls over a repaired crater on Combat Outpost Soltan Khel to show Soldiers the immediate strength of a filled crater during a class to instruct soldiers on how to use the hasty crater repair system. Fox Forward Support Company assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry regiment uses the system to repair craters on Highway 1, a major Afghan route. The unit is assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and is deployed from Fort Bliss, Texas.
