Company E recruits bout it out, two-on-one April 5 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego during Pugil Sticks Two. Recruits are given helmets and gear for safety. Pugil sticks are used to simulate their M-16 A4 service rifles. This gives recruits a feel for close-combat.
