Sailors assigned to the visit, board, search and seizure team aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) transit in a rigid-hull inflatable boat toward the Indian navy frigate Satpura (F-48) while an SH-60B Sea Hawk helicopter monitors from above during a training exercise. Halsey and Satpura are participating in Malabar, a scheduled naval training exercise conducted to advance multinational maritime relationships and mutual security.
